Staff were very friendly and helpful. Best Sunday dinner on the Isle of Wight, in fact I've never had a better Sunday dinner anywhere. Very reasonably priced. Can recommend without hesitation.
Highly recommend Hewitt’s restaurant, if you are looking for good quality, delicious food this is the place to go. I have just been for a Sunday Roast with my family and cannot recommend it enough. The best roast we’ve had in a long time and the puddings were unreal too!
We had a lovely stay at Hewitt's. We were travelling on bikes which we were able to store securely .The staff were friendly with helpful advice and the room very comfortable. We had 2 breakfasts and one evening meal and all were excellent. The proximity to the town centre and cycle paths were a bonus. Thank you
This is a real treasure. Beautiful historic building with modern fittings and recent decoration. Some might say quaint which is true but it is nonetheless modern accommodation with everything you could need. The well-trained staff are amazing - wonderful service but with the personal touch only small, independent places can provide. I didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast as I was visiting family but those who have done highly recommend it (one night there was a quiet guitarist providing ambience without disturbing the rooms upstairs)
